Case Study

Requirement:

After winning an aggressive four way pitch, Creative Jar was commission to address the global presentation needs for this international organisation. With offices in every country across the globe, Kardex had a major problem with consistency and quality of sales presentations from each country office. A variable and often mixed message, along with poor quality output was damaging the sales process and the Kardex brand.

Creative Jar were tasked with developing a cohesive multi-language presentation application for the management of hundreds of bespoke Flash based slides also to be developed by Creative Jar.

Planning&Technical Specification:

With such a large solution requirement the planning and specification stage was critical. From organised workshops and interviewing or team gathered all the information required to put together a watertight technical and functional specification along with complete wireframes for application use.

Creative:

The creative team had a variety of areas to consider; the software application, the presentation slides, video and 3D modelling of the products. As such the team worked for many months in devising the creative for all aspects of the project. Creative Jar flew a two man team worldwide for video shoots, along with producing highly detailed 3D visuals of all the Kardex products for use in the slides. Each slide was tailored in Flash and implemented to the software tool developed by the technical team.

Technical:

The presentation software was developed in Flash as a multi-platform standalone application using XML for language and slide management. Shipped with pre-defined presentations along with a full asset library, the solution was eight months in application development and testing.

Worldwide Success:

Now used worldwide by Kardex for sales presentations in multiple languages, the complete solution far exceeded expectations for success and take-up. Now in further development for enhancement and features, Creative Jar continue to work closely with Kardex on this and other projects.
