Case Study
The Longman.co.uk website had fallen behind on current website trends and needed a fundamental change in user experience to increase its transactional performance.
Coupled with a complete redesign there were complex requirements for integration with the Pearson EPM system, payment gateway facilities and Spirit CRM.
Technical:
With an innovative new interface produced by our information architects and designers; our team of coders had to develop a custom .NET application from ground up to handle the content, along with full integration with local business systems.
Having previously worked with Pearson Schools on their Flash demo discs - a cd-rom based sales tool for rapid distribution of product demos; it was deemed to fit well to deploy these within the website where possible. Fully integrated into the CMS, the Flash tools make for high impact content presentation over and above a standard product picture.
Success:
Working through rigorous deployment processes our team ensured for a successful 'go-live'. With seamless cross platform integration and mini content management system, the site has been a huge success for Longman.co.uk
