Case Study
Requirement:
Entering into a three-way pitch and winning, Creative Jar was tasked with a complete re-development of the Potatoes for Schools website, a valuable education resource for primary children. To include character design, user-interface and bespoke content management system along with further application across marketing and print collateral; an integrated approach was to be adopted from the outset.
Creative:
The original website and characters were dated and uninspiring so the overall creative needed something special and standout to appeal to the audience. A highly visual and illustrative route was adopted for the user interface, and an androgynous potato character designed to accompany the new look. With such a successful new look for the site, full application was undertook to emails and print collateral including posters, wall-charts, folders, brochures and display stands.
Technical:
With full client involvement from the outset of web development, the client requested an intuitive content management solution that allowed for 'inline' page editing from an admin edit mode. This allowed an admin user to navigate to their chosen page and simply edit and move content at will. With further robust features for navigation control and page creation, the CMS was a huge success.
Integrated Approach Huge Success:
It's always exciting having 'carte blanche' to across all media channels for a client and even more exciting when it's so successful. The package provided by Creative Jar has re-invented the Potato Council's primary education solution and positioned them at the forefront of their sector.
