Established in 1901, Gossard has transcended the decades by offering woman the luxury of choice in under garments. From practical corsets to their sell out G-Strings, Gossard continues to push boundaries, developing innovative products.
However, the website was tired, dated and did not match the prestige of the Gossard brand. The front-end was slow and difficult to navigate around, the back-end was cumbersome and hard for editors to manage; customers found the process time consuming and conversion rates were low.
Gossard wanted a website that would allow customers to easily purchase items, and give the business flexibility to manage the site and orders with ease.
With customers at the heart of the new site, Creative Jar developed wireframes which focussed on enhancing customer experience and developing a shopping and brand site that rivalled competitors. After extensive UX and wireframe production, approval was reached for the functionality.
The site taxonomy was simplified, providing a direction that focusses on good product navigation and collections. Working with the existing brand DNA, our creative team devised a visually stunning website that matched offline media perfectly. The website design is both accomplished in its look and feel, and works hard as a high-end brand shop.
A bespoke e-commerce platform developed in Microsoft .NET ensures that Gossard can manage products, orders, SEO and content such as blogs, along with being fully integrated with the existing back office fulfilment system for extensive reporting.
