McAfee is a global company that proactively secures systems and networks from software virus threats. Users trust its impressive security expertise; knowing that the product they buy will effectively block attacks and prevent disruptions.
McAfee had promoted its Online Backup offering successfully in the US and wanted to launch the product in the UK and EMEA.
As McAfee’s long term creative agency, Creative Jar was engaged to design and deliver an innovative, multi-channel integrated campaign.
McAfee’s Online Backup product encrypts valuable data, from music files and documents to family photos, and uploads it to a secure remote online server that can be accessed from any PC, with an internet connection, in the world.
Based on the premise that precious, personal content such as music and photos can be preserved by using Online Backup products, Creative Jar developed concepts illustrating the negative effects that losing the content would bring.
The campaign, with the working title ‘headphones’ was a simple concept, but could be adapted across different channels and was dramatic enough to gain interest and ensure customers would read more about the product.
